The Financial Service, Leasing , is a service that is made available for customers that wish to establish a financial agreement that differs from the much-used standard License Agreement.
One of the underlying reasons may be that the customer wishes to stretch the financial burden over a number of fiscal years. Another way of seeing this kind of agreement service is that it allows the customer to postpone the decision to buy the actual software license.
Leasing Conditions
The customer in fact leases all the installation required Dialog Manager licenses for a number of years. As opposed to the standard 15% annual upgrade fee, the Leasing Agreement will cost 25% per annum of the total license pool. For every year the customer has leased the software a 10% purchase discount is granted in case it is decided to buy the licenses. In other words, in case the customer decides to buy the license, at some point in time, total annual leasing fees amounts to only 10% of the total license pool. |
